Nursery rooms

Bumble bee rooms (Baby unit) - 4 months to 2 years (based on individual needs)

We provide your child with a happy, comfortable and stimulating environment. We are an approachable and friendly team, who are here for any questions or queries you may have. We do a wide range of activities throughout the day which meet your child's needs and development. We have a free flow system where children can choose what they’d like to play with, providing sensory, creative and physical play and lots more. Any parent who needs reassurance about their child's development, please feel free to express their concerns to the child's key person or any member of the Bumble Bees room team.

Caterpillar room - 1 to 2 year olds

The Caterpillar team welcome all our children and parents into our warm, friendly, caring environment. We provide our Caterpillar children with a variety of stimulating and challenging activities throughout the nursery day. We like to get messy in the Caterpillar room and are open to trying new experiences and welcome any interests and ideas from our parents.  Caterpillar room is a very physical environment because of the age group. Children are still very young and are not all fully mobile, to improve and encourage mobility we have activities to support their physical and developmental needs. These activities are sand/water play indoors and outdoors, tricycles, push a long toys, climbing frames etc. We provide table top activities where children can sit down or stand up as appropriate. The Caterpillar children have a fun and exciting time in their nursery day and we hope our parents do not worry too much. Any parent who needs reassurance about their child's development, please feel free to express their concerns to the child's key person or any member of the Caterpillar room team.

Butterfly room - 2 to 3 year olds

Butterfly room has a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to encouraging the best out of your 2 – 3 year old. We are caring and enthusiastic, encouraging learning through play. We have free flow play, set circle times and small group activities, which will inspire and intrigue your child's learning. We give them opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments. We work alongside the EYFS standards which helps to form a well rounded child. We cover all areas of your child’s development.  Our focus is on your child, planning to meet their own individual needs, goals and interests. We do this by observations and interactions with your child, in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment. Any parent who needs reassurance about their child's development, please feel free to express their concerns to the child's key person or any member of the Butterfly room team.

Dragonfly room - 3 to 5 year olds

We offer your child the opportunity to explore the different areas of provision, inside and outside, through free flow play and planned focus activities.  We cater for your child’s individual needs and are understanding and caring of those requirements. We are happy to discuss your child’s development and will answer any questions you may have. In the room we prepare your child for their big adventure of going to school, 'School readiness'. We communicate with their new school, giving relevant information regarding development of your child; we also offer your child’s teacher a chance to come to the setting to see what activities they enjoy.
